The aim of this project was to redesign the roof of a simple post-war building typical for the southern part of  Hannover. A rhythmically arranged dormer ensemble enlivens the view of the building from the street side. The materiality and colour were chosen in such a way that the dormers and roof merge and form a unit. Inside there are two apartments with loft-like layouts extending over two levels. The decisive interior-architectural design idea was the play with the visual axes, which offer extensive views and perspectives. The clear design language is also continued in the interior fittings. This is characterised by a large number of detailed solutions. Cabinets, building services, lighting, etc. are understood as part of the architecture and merge with it. In perception, nothing distracts from the space and the sense of space experienced. Insights into the interior will follow soon...
