Design for a communicative living and working situation, office villa Uhlemeyerstrasse. The main element of the design is a dining table that penetrates the wall to the kitchen and continues there as a kitchen island. By lowering the floor level in the kitchen, a flowing material flow of the table/ worktop can be achieved and at the same time the necessary height dimensions for siting/working are achieved. The design of the wall opening between the rooms allows various insights and views that are decisive for the perception of the room scenario. The underlying idea was to dissolve the boundaries between the rooms and thus enable a dialogue between people.
